July 03 First day in AdelaideWaking up very early this morning. We departed Sydney with JetStar.
As so differently a city from Sydney, Adelaide shows her feature in every aspects which quite charming:
The cab driver we encountered on our way from airport to city is very kind hearted. He told us lots about the traffic and urban interesting site of Adelaide.
Adelaide downtown – quiet and peaceful - It just wake up when we arriving there:
The State Library, Museum and Art Gallery – Paralleled on the North Terrace: Victoria Square – The Heart of City: Central Market –Many tidy and beautiful stalls inside: So clearly the price - Have you seen that, they also accept UnionPay - We Chinese are so prevail: The abandoned banana out the of market gate – My travel mates are stealing, What a shame! The tram we usually take - It is Free! "Ask about Adelaide" - The sign on the back of shirts. Seems that you can find the volunteers everywhere. When you were not sure about the direction or planned route, they could get to you and talk you about everything you wanna know as soon as you can image. Rundle Mall – The pedestrians only street in the downtown: After the long day, we enjoyed the wine and grapes when we back to the apartment – Why that guy is so shy? Still shame for the banana thieving, maybe: BTW, the apartment we rented is very nice. It is recommended to live if visiting Adelaide, the detailed information can be retrieved at http://www.majestichotels.com.au/ola_overview.htm Old lion apartments – the two bedrooms suite which contains 4 people just cost $182 – absolutely smart choice!
